Data deletion request

How to request deletion

Email andrea@hisummer.app from the email address on the account, with the subject line “Delete my data”. Include the account holder’s name and the phone number registered with Summer so we can verify the request. You can also ask Summer to delete your data during a call, or reply DELETE on WhatsApp.

We confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

A deletion request removes:

• Account data: name, email, phone number, country, and language preference.
• Loved one and caregiver data: names, phone numbers, addresses, and saved preferences.
• Call data: recordings, transcripts, and call metadata.
• WhatsApp message content associated with your phone number.
• Service request history: past orders, rides, and reminders.

What we may keep

We may retain a minimal record required by law, such as invoices and tax records, and anonymized aggregate statistics that can no longer identify you. Anything retained for a legal obligation is deleted once that obligation ends.

Stopping messages without deleting

If you only want to stop calls and WhatsApp messages but keep your account, reply STOP on WhatsApp or tell Summer on a call. This withdraws messaging consent without deleting your data.

Third-party providers

When you delete your data, we also instruct our processors, including our voice infrastructure and hosting providers, to delete the copies they hold. Message content already delivered through WhatsApp is subject to Meta’s own retention practices, and orders placed with fulfillment partners remain in their records as required by their terms.
